Dr. Zachary Kezios attended North Carolina State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine from 2013 through 2017. His lifelong dedication to helping animals started at a young age with fostering kittens with his family, and his fascination with the sciences led to his goal of becoming a talented veterinarian, which he considers his greatest accomplishment. Dr. Kezios loves to help people take an active role in their pets’ care, and is happy to offer helpful information to empower his clients.
Two pieces of advice he loves to give is for people to always keep pets on heartworm prevention year-round, and to always call a veterinarian for help if they aren’t sure what to do. Phone calls are no charge.
On a personal note, you may be surprised to learn that Dr. Kezios is a fan of fantasy and science fiction books and films, he is an avid fan of heavy metal music, and his two best friends are his cat Ollie and his ball python Medusa.
